The Evolving Arts Collective’s Where’s My Money?, which has been enjoying a smash sellout run at the Beaumont Studios these last few weeks, announced today that they have added one more week to their run to help raise money for local acting maven Babz Chula’s urgently needed cancer treatments. The holdover runs from April 9-12, with all of the proceeds going to the Babz Chula Lifeline for Artists Society.
We wrote more on Babz’ story earlier, check it out here for all the details.
Don’t miss this last week to catch this wonderful cast in one of John Patrick Shanley’s most hilarious plays. I saw it last week and laughed, really laughed, for 90 straight minutes. Seriously, my guts were sore afterwards. But don’t take my word for it, here’s what the local critics had to say:
“I haven’t had such a good time at the theatre in weeks!
This comedy leaves you breathless, which is exactly what you want”.Colin Thomas, The Georgia Straight
“Take my word for it; we all laughed our faces off opening night. This is one funny script, with excellent performances, one fabulous wedding dress and a good, short night at the theatre.”
Jo Ledingham, Vancouver Courier
