The Arts Club just announced the inclusion of the Western Canadian Regional Premier of August: Osage County to next year’s season. It opens January 27. No word yet on cast or crew, I’ll be keeping an eye peeled.

I had to double-check when you said it was the Western Canadian premiere, as Edmonton’s Citadel Theatre is doing the show in its next season as well. Turns out Arts Club does have the premiere in Western Canada, by two days. Interesting coincidence.
It’ll be interesting to see who the cast is, saw the show in NYC and loved it. Didn’t feel like 3 1/2 hours at all.
I am ridiculously excited for this – saw it in NY as well and it probably tops my list for the best show I’ve ever seen. Can’t friggen wait!
